The Rural Education Summit presented by the Coalition of OHIO Rural and Appalachian Schools (CORAS) brings together local leaders, educators, and advocates to share ideas, build partnerships, and strengthen the future of public education. Grounded in place and driven by purpose, this gathering is a space to elevate rural voices, exchange solutions, and work toward a future where every student—no matter their zip code—has access to the opportunities they deserve.

The Coalition of OHIO Rural and Appalachian Schools (CORAS) is a group of superintendents across 42 counties in the state dedicated to strengthening education and expanding opportunities for all children in Rural and Appalachian Ohio. As part of the state’s public education system, they work with partners across Ohio on a mission to advocate for the children, educators, and families in the regions they represent, and to remind decision-makers that when every school is supported, we are all stronger.
